Dave Brosha, a highly acclaimed landscape, wedding and portrait photographer, will be presenting three seminars in Truro on April 30th. Image Makers Photography Club will be hosting the seminars at the First Baptist Church, 957 Prince Street, Truro. The seminars will begin at 9:00 am.

The first seminar, A Planet of Light, will use some very impressive imagery to illustrate the basics of good, landscape photography including equipment, composition and of course the power of extraordinary light. The second seminar, The North – Nights of Wonder, will build on the topics presented in the first hour using images from Northern Canada where Dave was born.
The final seminar, Creative Portraiture, will discuss how Dave uses his first love, landscape photography, to create striking images with models highlighted by their natural environment. Dave Brosha is much heralded in photography circles. He has a successful photography business based in Long Creek, Prince Edward Island. He leads photography workshops all over the world including in his home town of Yellowknife, NWT. He has been published in countless media outlets including Canadian Geographic, National Geographic, Outdoor Photography Canada, MacLeans and the Globe and Mail. Dave also is represented on many digital sites including Flickr, 500px and Petapixel. Ray Scapinello, an NHL Hall of Famer, referred to him as “The Wayne Gretzky of photography” and Nikon cheered him as, “One of the celebrated creative photographers in the world”.
The seminars are open to anyone interested in being inspired by the work of Dave Brosha. The cost is $10.00 for members of Image Makers Photography Club and $15.00 for non-members.
